Heavy and solid. Looks to be built correctly! Only possible issue I can potentially see is maybe over use, I could see the barb wire might snag the one ends material of the belt. If that rips, I’m not sure how to get it fixed. But I’ve already used it on 3 areas of my broken fence and repaired them with ease. Looking forward to checking the rest of the fence lines. Thanks

The BackCountry Fence Stretcher is second to none!!! Did some repairs on 15.5 and 14 gauge hi-tensile wire. In both instances the BackCountry Fence Stretcher worked flawlessly. I especially appreciate the auto retraction feature. Makes hooking up the barbed wire a breeze. Not to mention it retracts easily, automatically resetting itself for the next job.
